Here are a few places to find free geography games. Games are a GREAT way to learn geography. You can do this with any map! Super simple. When they had labeled all that they could remember, I gave them a map that already had the states labeled and had them choose two more to label on their blank maps. I had them fill in one state from memory (it's best to do the state you live in first), then I asked them if they knew any other states from memory and they would fill those in. I gave my kids a blank map that I printed from (this site also has some great printables: Seterra). They learned them all quickly, without even realizing that they were memorizing the map. But let me tell ya, it works! I used this method with my kids while teaching them the 50 states. This idea came from a video I watched on teaching Geography using the Charlotte Mason method, and it's so simple it almost feels like it's not enough.
